No letter from DWP re pip was created by arbonne
Hi there
Thanks to all at B+W for your invaluable guide for pip. My husband had his f2f almost 6 weeks ago and still had no decision from DWP. I rang two weeks ago because his DLA care payment had stopped and they couldn't tell me why. The guy I spoke to did tell me my husband had been given 14 points for care and 16 points for mobility and to ring back on the 5th June if letter not received. I have rung twice since then and had no answers from them at all except promises to send a copy of the f2f report and a decision letter, neither of which have been sent. I don't know what to do this is making me ill and I have to care for my husband. Can anyone suggest what to do next please.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

The first thing to do is to escalate the problem to a manager, this will require a call back.
Is his PIP award in payment?
If you still don't get anywhere then involve your MP and make a formal complaint to the DWP.
Contacting your MP
Complaining to the DWP

No payment of pip yet. I will ring again tomorrow and request another call back from a manager (had one last wednesday who promised the letter would be sent out that day). If I get nowhere I will follow your advice. Thanks for your reply will update on the outcome.

Hi again I have just been told that my husband has been awarded enhanced rate for both care and mobility until 2020. No mr needed thank goodness. This would never have happened if I hadn't used your fantastic guides and advice, we can now look forward again after six months of worry and sleepless nights. Honestly I can't thank you all enough.

Thank you. One last question if you don't mind please. My husbands claim for pip began on 15 Jan this year. Will the award be paid from that date (less the dla payments during that time).
