Do you know where I can contact an advocate. My Dad is taking me to the assessment but he is 82 years old and I am not having him put through any ordeal. So I will have to go it alone .

It's very unlikely that you will find someone to go to the assessment with you, but try doing an internet search for "welfare advice" with your postcode, town or county, you can also try any charities that specialise in your conditions and your GP surgery should hold a list of voluntary oragnistaions in your local area.
