Waiting time DLA to PIP was created by Stephen Collins
Hello Firstly I want to thank you for the very useful advice and guidance on PIP to DLA guides. They are invaluable.

I sent my PIP application in early March recorded. Then three weeks later an acknowledgement from Capita. It is now just over 3 months. I have heard nothing since. Is this normal, as I've know others go from sending in forms to final decision in 10 weeks including FtF.

I am not wanting to call DWP or, Capita, as anxious me, would be worried. Can anyone tell me if this waiting period is usual, before being called for FtF?

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

There appears to have been a significant slow down in the PIP assessment process over the last couple of months, we have gone from 3-4 weeks to 7-8 weeks and some areas such as the East Midlands are taking even longer.
