Now my question is this, the letter says that she must attend and that she may be sanctioned if she does not, but am i right in thinking people in the support group are exempt from these types of things?

Ger wrote: Hello my partner was awarded ESA Support Group a few months ago and today has received a letter saying "you must come to this small group session" and also states "This session will replace any mandatory appointment previously arranged. You must attend this session instead." it goes on to say that "only a small number of customers have been invited to this session and you will not be expected to talk about any personal issues in front of others in the group"

As we all know they do not take pain, distress or physical disability into account, nor good manners and inbuilt socially mindfulness self pressure, to be pleasant and try to hide pain etc, just for a little while, to be helpful, useful etc.
I wonder what they are upto? I will be watching this topic for updates

Good luck to your wife Ger, you may be the first of many in a new little scheme
