Sent in my forms for DLA to PIP on Feb10th my daughter phoned approx 4weeks later and they said that they had no record of receiving them ,then my daughter told them that they were sent by recorded delivery ,two minutes later they said that it was their mistake and they had found them , since then nothing until my daughter rang them about three weeks ago and they said that they were making a f2f visit at home ? they said that there would be nothing for the next six weeks ,to date I've heard nothing and today is the 22June ,is this a record amount of time to wait or what do you think is happening,the stress of this is making me very very anxious,help please.

My full name is showing, how can I stop it? I'm afraid we have seen a significant increase in wait time for an assessment over the last couple of months. The average wait time is at least 8 weeks and possibly a lot more.
