Supported my wife today at PIP review medical felt very robotic and superficial.
The lady from IAS {ATOS} was clearly agitated by the length of time my wife took to answer the many questions..
Even saying at one point " We need to hurry this along as we only have 40 mins"
My wife was as normal sedated due to mental health and suicidal issues.
I kept my cool and did not prompt my wife too much.
This health care proffesional clearly had her own agenda and clearly not trained to interact with a MH person..
Should I complain ?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
Assessors are not required to have experience in regard to a claimants conditions, so this would not be a reason for a complaint, as to their attitude, it's your call but you might want to wait until you have seen the report they have produced.
Give it a couple of days and you can request a copy by contacting the DWP office dealing with your wife's claim.
PIP Decisions are taking 2-4 weeks at the moment.

The guidelines for the HP states that among other principles that they should create a relaxed and unrushed environment.
What have we done to allow the most vunerable in our country to be treated with such contempt ?
