hi am asking a question regaring the going out desriptor as i am diabetic as well as other problems i am getting a lot of double vision blurryness and lines in my eyes i have packed in driving car as some weeks ago nearly had a serious accident due to this it came on sudden what i want to no if you can help is on navigating and that were do i stand as i did not mention this on forms would i gain any points atall as i cannot plan a route as every thing i look at it is blurry which i did put on form so cannot plan or navigate this going out question seems to be very awkard in which to answer to me anyway thanks

One of the issues you will need to deal with is variability of the condition, can you show that you meet the majority of days criteria, you may be able to argue that the risk of an attack meets the requirement, see the section on Safety in the PIP Claim guide.

Sensory problems are a valid reason for scoring points in the Going Out activity, but you will need to explain how the problem prevents you navigating a route in some detail.
