It's not really a choice, if you have been invited to an appointment at Maximus's offices then you must attend or you risk your claim being closed.

How you get to the assessment will be included in the assessment, so for example; travelling on your own when you have Social Anxiety may count against you, using Public Transport when you have mobility problems, etc..

There is a section at the back of the ESA Claim guides that covers the assessment process and the questions you are likely to be asked.
