Just became aware my p.i.p assessor is local and friends with my ex husband and woman he left me for!!! Not on!!

If they knew who you were then they should have recused themselves from the assessment. Of course it could work in your favour.

The downside, if you make a complaint, is that I think it likely that you would have to have another face to face to ensure the report was unbiased.
