I received a date for a medical, which was subsequently postponed, reinstated, postponed. I telephoned for clarification, and was told that it was cancelled and awaiting further information.
Over a week ago, I received a letter from Jobcentreplus, saying they have looked at my claim again, because I have been placed in the Support Group, (which I was already in). And from ..Sept. payment will be £109.65. On the second page it says if I do not agree, then to contact them within a month of letter date.
At first I thought great, I've got the ESA but then I wasn't so sure and decided to wait for possible further info from DWP, but nothing to date.
Does this mean that my ESA has been successful without a medical, or it is just a standard letter? Surely I should receive a letter from the DWP and computer printout like last time?
I tried to phone the JC but put on hold for 15 mins and gave up. I know they can take a long time to answer. Which is best to phone next, JCP, DWP or Maximus?
Thanks for your help.
