ESA holidays was created by troy
I started work on 16/9/2017, 4 days after i started this new job i pulled mussels in my lower back.
I got a 2 week doctors cert to rest and claimed ESA, while i`m claiming ESA i`m due to go on holiday to ireland for 2 weeks, booked before i started work.
Do i need to let DWP know of this holiday and will i still be able to claim ESA while on holiday.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

There's no specific requirement for you to tell the DWP if you go abroad but it may be to your advantage to notify them, as you ESA claim will progress and there may be activities such as your being asked to attend a WFI or to complete an ESA50 that may fall into the period while you are away.
Whether you tell them or not, be prepared to explain how you managed to travel with your injury, those assessing you will almost certainly make assumptions as to your capabilities.

You must maintain a current Fit Note with the DWP or the ESA computer system will not release your payments.
