I only got standard rate PIP after having top rate DLA mobility and I have my own car and taxed it last October. The reminder arrived this week and as I knew I had to pay 50% I rang the DVLA to be told my car hadn't been taxed since my PIP started in January and I shouldn't have been driving it ,so I had to pay the arrears and then had go to the Post office to change details on the log book. Maybe I was stupid not to realise this but I can't find anything in the paperwork to say this. Please be aware if this happens to you.
