You can make a new claim for ESA providing you can re-meet the Contribution Conditions, this means for the Tax Years 2014-15 and 2015-16 you need to have both of the following;
- 26 weeks of NI Contributions in one of the two years, and - 50 weeks of NI Contribution or NI Credits in both of the years.
