Advice - income related or CB ESA was created by Crizzle
Hi, I was getting CB ESA, but since my reassessment it has changed to IR ESA. I am in the support group and get 125.55 week, why would it change?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

I think you will actually be receiving ESA(CB) with an ESA(IR) top up, being placed in the Support Group means that you are entitled to the Disability Income Guarantee, however, this is only payable with ESA(IR).

As long as your entitlement letter clearly says that you are receiving payment of ESA(IR) in part or in whole then you are entitled to free prescriptions and dental care and assistance with glasses, etc.

Thank you again, I wish I'd known that before. I paid for dental treatment just before I found out about the health costs form. At least I know now for the future.
