ESA assessment

Hello guys, I'm hoping you can help me out here

On Thursday out of the blue I had a letter from Medical Assessment Service

It states they have arranged for me to attend an assessment for ESA on Oct 25.


I have not filled out an ESA50 form

I called DWP on the friday to ask what was happening. They tell me June '16 they send out an ESA form to me but it was never returned.... I have been in payment, and I've not received any letters from them until now....

Trouble is I am bed bound 80% of the time I can get up of occasions but i can barely walk so I've asked for a home assessment...

I'm confused because 6 weeks ago i just come out from my PIP assessment and now this and what can they assess me on when I've not filled out an esa50 form? Of course i have asked for a home assessment which i have had to ask my doctor to fax them with a reason why.

I'm just confused if this is normal. mainly why no ESA form and how comes i had no reminder about filling in said form or even stopping my payments?:
