hi
please bear with
ive had to give up work due to ill health, but fortunattly got an enhanced pension.
ive applied for ESA but been turned down due to the amount of my pension, this has taken 6 months to sort out( another story)
ive been lucky (due to this site) to get STANDARD PIP for both care and mobility(last month), but the WCA assesment was a complete joke, ive complained about the assesor not listening to my answers ( been told its her word against mine) and my score has come back as 0 points
ive put in a mandatory reconsideration yesterday confirming my complaint and her lack of recording my answers correctly, i cant wait to have my day at a tribuneral
my question is...
because they say im FIT TO WORK( against the opinion of my doctor, consultant and my companies pension doctor) also stating that if i cant walk 200m get a wheelchair, ( i never said that) they are now saying to look for work.
the problem is i have been told i cant work full time as part of pension pay off, so would claiming JSA affect my pension as long as i dont get a job (highly unlikely anyone will employ me as i cant walk more than 50m and have Chronic Kidney disease with anaemia, so have to sleep for about 12 hrs a day
hope that all makes sense
please bear with

I'm unclear as to how your ESA was left in regard your pension, were you pursuing the claim even though you are not entitled to payment.
If you were unable to receive payment for your ESA then I would not expect you to receive JSA payments either.
If you can receive JSA payments then it may be possible to negotiate a limited Claimant Commitment with your local JC+ office that that account of the restrictions in your pensions terms and conditions, whether you can or not will depend on what the restrictions are.
