Today i recieved a letter from my local council stating the above and that the DWP had told them there had been a change in my circumstances. No change at all as far as i know and no letters or calls or anything else to me from the dwp. My circumstances are exactly the same. The Council letter state " your incapacity benifit has been cancelled" And i need to provide proof of work and the date i started work etc...
I am on esa in a support ground according to my last letter from the dwp. I am 63 years old with acute osteoarthiritus in my knees neck and thumbs . Medicaly interviewed twice.
As my housing and council tax have been suspended and according to the council i have 1 month to send in proof of my work situation what do i do now?
Bit worried.

The first thing to do is contact the DWP on Monday to find out what has happened (if anything) to your ESA.

Once you understand whether it has been stopped then you can contact your Local Authority. If it has been stopped then you should ask to make a zero income claim for HB while you sort the ESA out.
