What Do I Need To Take was created by Pinkpenquin
Hi
On top of waiting for ESA reassessment (18 weeks since forms sent back and received)
I now have an assessment and a F2F (for PIP) next week at an assessment centre local to me (only reason I did not go down the route of requesting a home visit is the assessment has come quickly and is local)
I use a wheelchair outdoors which my husband pushes due to me not being able to propel myself, reasons documented on claim form ,indoors I use crutches, I cannot reliability use crutches outdoors again reasons documented on claim form.
Should I take my crutches with me to the assessment? Or just go in the wheelchair, cannot seem to find info as to what to do
Many Thanks

It's a decision that only you can make, however the PIP test looks at your ability to walk outside.

Thankyou Gordon for your prompt reply,
I think I will take them in with me to the assessment, I don’t want them to think that I am hiding something,

Hi Gordon
Having received my PIP report last week I have today received the award notice
Standard Living and Enhanced Motability.... exactly what the assessor has recommended.
Happy with the reward.....
Would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Mods and especially yourself for the dedication and tireless replies to questions.
For the expert knowledge and guidelines you produce , with the sole aim of helping us all claim what we are entitled to.i will be reading and re reading for my ESA assessment in Jan !
Had it not been for these guidelines I am sure my result would not be the same
Can I also take this opportunity to wish yourself and all the mods A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
