Hi
Can anyone tell me if after you put in a claim for ESA and PIP renewal, do they have an obligation to tell you?, the payments have continued so i assume all has been processed, did ESA in July and PIP in September.
Many Thank
Sam

You say a claim for ESA, do you mean a new claim or was this also a reassessment?
If they have you mobile number then I would have expected you to have received texts about your claims.
ESA do not acknowledge receipt of your ESA50 as it is actually returned directly to Maximus. If you have passed the required date of return and your ES is still in payment then the form was received. There are currently long delays in the ESA assessment process and many members are reporting wait times of six months or more.
I would have expect the DWP to have acknowledged receipt of your AR1 PIP review form, but again, if they had failed to have received it then you would have heard. There are also delays in the PIP Assessment Process, they were up at 12-16 weeks but may have started reducing now.
