Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
We would have expected two and at most four weeks so chase the DWP for an update.

If they are happy to wait then they should but if not then the next ting to do would be to contact their MP.

I'm in the north of England and in the same boat. Still waiting nigh on two months after my assessment. My carer phoned up the DWP a couple of weeks ago and was told they'd not received the assessors report yet. I received my DLA payment as usual today so obviously they still haven't made a decision.
I think the "two to four weeks" that Gordon keeps talking about is not accurate, well, not up here anyway.
