Hi.I was wondering if you could please help me..I am changing over from dla indefinite award to plp.form had to be sent back by 16th November.sent unbelievable amount of evidence with form.received 2 letters today.one saying face to face next week.can't believe how quick..then another letter dated same day stating one of our health professionals has looked at all information,we are letting you know we've asked for further information from people involved in your treatment, once we get evidence our health care professional may be able to finish your assessment report.if we don't receive information we may need to see you face to face,,could you please tell me why they have sent date for face to face, with this letter when they won't have had time to get imformtion. It's puzzling me both drafted same day..and receive same day,.so do I just go for face to face and ignore letter. Your help is greatly appreciated.

You do have the option of cancelling the current appointment, providing it is the first one that you have received, in the hope that your health professionals are able to provide the information that the Assessment Provider needs for a Paper Based Review.

You can only move the appointment once and must attend the new date when and wherever it Is, if you book it while on the phone with the AP you should be able to arrange a suitable date. If you do cancel then leave it to a day or two before the current appointment to maximise the time your HCPs have to reply.
