I thought I would let you all know that, following Standard Daily Living Award, I had a re-calculated Council Tax Bill this week, just a couple of days after my last conversation with the Council. The bill has been recalculated back to the date I first applied for PIP (Sept 2016). This was such a (pleasant surprise), my bill reduced by a few hundred pounds. Yet another reason why, if a claim is rejected at first, the whole diabolical process must be persevered with. Thanks to B&W, a light has been shone on how badly disability claims are assessed. I am cautiously hopeful things in this respect will improve.
