My son with brain injury, frontal lobe damage & partial sight has been on ESA in Support gGroup since 2009 - had ESA stopped several times in first three years - each time appealed and restored fully. No further WCA until 4 years later in July 2017 - ESA stopped with 0 points. Mandatory reconsideration - no change. Submiited papers to tribunal and suddenly out of blue was informed his ESA (Support group) restored - but absolutely no explanation for the decision - no info re under which regs the decision had been made, or descriptors or amounts of poiints now awarded. I have written asking for details of the new decision but no answer so far forthcoming. Surely this is essential for future reference when called for assessment again?
