My daughter gets ESA and PIP. She is in the support group. In December 2016 She was told she is entitled to both contribution based and income related ESA. She lives with myself and my husband in our family house. I am her carer. Her ESA will change to Universal Credit in the future. On reading the requirements to get Universal Credit she “must not reside in certain types of supported accommodation, for example where care, supervision, counselling, advice or other support services are made available to the claimant by or on behalf of the person by whom the accommodation is provided, with a view to enabling the claimant to live there”. Does this statement relate to her living in the family house?
