Hi Hope you can help me. I went for my medical today for es. I have been on it for 4years due to mental health problems. Sat down the lady asked me about my new condition that I got about 1 year ago aterial fribulation. I was explaining to her and getting very hot and anxious and mentioned I also had a TIA 1 year ago which is a mini stroke. I also have hypertension and high bp with depression. She stopped the interview and said I needed to see the doctor. As there was none available I was sent home. My question is why? Thx in advance.
The DWP requires certain conditions, due to their complexity or need for specialist knowledge to be assessed by doctor rather than a nurse of physiotherapist. You obviously feel under this rule although this should have been obvious from your ESA50 so you might want to consider a complaint about the wasted journey.
