Would you happen to know if making a cheese sandwich is classed as making a simple meal? My dad is unable to use the oven/stove without supervision due to him being unstable, and if oven was left on and his sat down to rest he may sleep or forget oven was one... so would the DWP class making a sandwich as a simple meal? Question 3b does say 'cook' a meal, so I would assume not.
Also if not aids used it it okay to leave boxes in Q3a unticked. It seems strange ticking that he doesn't use an aid when he doesn't cook?
Please refer to the PIP Claim guide, it has definitions for a simple meal and also what cooking consists of.
You can leave the tick boxes in marked but you must still answer the question in the comments box, in particular with regard the use of aids, as there use will be assumed unless you specifically explain why they can't.
