DLA to PiP

Hi I have just received my paperwork to apply for Pip I am in High Mobility and lower Care. I got someone to help me fill in the forms. I have been advised she will ask for paper assessment on my case. Does this usually happen I thought I really would need to go for a face 2 face which I dread.

Paper Assessments may be carried out, but more often than not claimants will be required to attend a F2F assessment. Please be aware PIP and DLA have very different criteria, people who qualified under DLA may find they do not meet the the PIP criteria. PIP is a much harder benefit to receive.
