Strange ESA payment in account

Hi,

I received an ESA payment yesterday (08/03/2018) despite receiving my normal fortnightly payment last Friday (02/03/2018). Has there been a glitch or something that has triggered early payments? I'm still waiting for a decision so I suppose it could be backdated SG payment? I'm now in week 17 of claim but there's not been any post or anything about a decision.

Called them. It’s backdated Support Group Payment! And no review for 3 years. That’s without attending a face to face assessment too.

Just a long shot really but is this payment for £25, if so it might be a cold weather payment as lots of people have been receiving them recently?

No it was more than £25 it is definitely support group component backdated, DWP have confirmed that over the phone.
