National Disabled Identification Card ( D.I.D )

Hello Again Folks......

Anyone know much about the National Disabled Identification Card ( D.I.D ) ..It seems to be a Brilliant Idea, and the prices are very good too, at £11:00 for one Year or £14:00 for 2 Years as long as you apply online, obviously they want proof, and require a copy of my Wife's Certificate of Entitlement to P.I.P.......

We have been contacted by them, and looked at their site, which seems to be quite authentic, BUT, I am a little concerned how genuine they are, any advice, help or reviews would be much appreciated.......

On face value, this looks like a good idea. However, it is run by a group of individuals with no obvious official approval.
They haven't named a single place that accept the card and have just used generalised places like cinemas and museums.
If I were to set up an ID card for the disabled, I would contact major leisure companies and other places that give concessions to the disabled and carers and get their endorsement before I made the card system live.
I will not be spending money for an unofficial ID card that my PIP certificate and driving licence proves for free.

I did buy a "CredAbility" card, cannot even remember where I ordered it from. It looks good and supposed to allow me into exhibitions and theatre etc with a companion. Supposed to allow me to do all sorts of things. But to be honest I showed it at the cinema when I was with a companion when my C.E.A. (Cinema Exhibitors Assoc) card was out of date, and they did not recognise it. Woman on the till kindly let me in anyway and said next time get your CEA card renewed. I just carry my DLA entitlement letter around with me for going to exhibitions with a companion. That works alone. Not that I can get to any currently, still suffering pain from a knee replacement in January.
