Settlement Agreement

I know this is not usually what you see in the forum but I thought add the website is called benefits and work I would see what response I get.

I have been off sick since early January with anxiety and depression. I was asked to speak with my HR manager to discuss when I might return to work, and did I know my entitlements to benefits etc.

During the conversation the HR manager said something along the lines of employers may start dismissal proceedings after 6 months of absence.

I admit this kind of got my back up against the wall and so I asked if HR could speak with my MD and request a settlement agreement.

Do you think I have made a big mistake? I keep telling myself that I probably want going to go back anyway add the job is causing the anxiety.

I am worried that I will be offered next to nothing in compensation.
