PIP Result was created by j.s.
Many thanks to all who run this site, I have found it very very helpful even when my questions have seemed daft, but needed reassurance, as I do once again, my award for pip came and it is for the higher rate on both, it says indefinitely, is the dpw's meaning of indefinite the same as everyone else's probably another daft question, but I don't trust them. The advice I was given regarding recording the assessment was spot on, and I would recommend doing it by the book with them, ebay was a good place to find dictaphones, knowing you are recording they have to be honest and straight with your assessment. Many Thanks.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Many congratulations on the award, well done.
Are you sure that it says "indefinitely" as this is not a phrase used for PIP awards, the relevant PIP term is "on-going"?

It says, you are entitled to:
Higher rate care component for help with personal care, indefinitely
Higher rate mobility component for help with getting around, indefinitely
and the weekly rate is from 09/04/18

I've never seen this wording used for a PIP award, only DLA.

I'm also in agreement with Gordon over this. I myself have an On-Going with my PIP and it is not stated as indefinitely?
Seems very odd if it states that on your decision letter.
I was formely known as (GoingOffMyHeadWithThisGovernment) Won PIP November 2017 ongoing award HR both. Now kept and got my ESA Support group but took a while.

It was a letter from DLA the yearly one they send, saw the long awaited brown envelope and assumed it was PIP, PIP letter just came and thankfully it is the same, but you were quite right it does state for an ongoing period not indefinitely. I take it no yearly reviews etc unless a change of medical circumstances. Again many thanks for your advice.
