PIP application process not the same as B&W says was created by plinth
I have been forced to start the DLA to PIP transfer, but I just wanted to say that, on page 12 of the Benefits and Work PIP guide it says "Oncee you have completed the telephone interview you will be sent a copy of the completed for to check, sign and return.." This did not happen to me. I had the interview, then the next thing I got through the post was the PIP2 form. Also, even though I have a severe mental health problem (for which I am receiving treatment in the NHS, both medication and other therapy) and I stated this to the man in the initial telephone call, I have not been granted any further time at all to fill in the PIP2 form. So I feel swindled about that. I wonder if anyone else has had similar experiences?

The form used to be sent out but no longer is.
You can request a two week extension to the date that you need to return the form by contacting the DWP on the number included in the letter that accompanied the PIP2, your conditions may entitle you to further extensions but these will be at the discretion of a Decision Maker, so if you need the time contact the DWP in plenty of time.
