Hi

Could anyone please help. I have received a letter giving details of a time for a phone call.

I unfortunately suffer from mental health issues, in January I spent time in hospital and am on the verge of doing something stupid after receiving this letter.

Can anyone advise please?

Does the letter explain the reason for the call?

Are you in the ESA Support Group? If you are then a lot of members are receiving these letters, it is simply an exercise to contact ESA claimants who under normal circumstances are not contactable because of their award.

Can you actually take the call?

Can someone be with you?

How long were you in hospital? It’s one of the things they need to know

I have contacted my Crisis Team and I am trying to be "normal", whatever that is. And yes, I am in the ESA support group, just actually received contact a few days ago that I don't have to go in for an assessment due to the evidence I and my GP provided.

Just sick of the pressure that they keep applying.

Thank you for your reply.

5 days, not over the 28 days that I would of had to inform them
