Hi I've just had a letter about telephone compliance interview and I'm worried it might be to do with a pension lump sum I just accessed. I've taken £2k from a small sipp I have to do work on my house. I thought only weekly or monthly pension payments counted but now I'm worried I've done something wrong and I should have told dwp I accessed this money? I'm really confused by all the rules but don't want to get into trouble. Any advice. I'm not taking any regular monies from my pension.
Providing you are only receiving Contribution Based ESA then a one-off payment from your pension fund should not have any effect on your ESA. You can try contacting the advisor for more details of the interview, they won't always say, but some will.
