How long does it take to recieve a SAR was created by Lizt11
I was just woundering how long does it take to recieve a subject access request please because I requested one in writing, posted by special delivery on the 26th April and have not eared anything yet. I am aware that there have been bank holidays so it may have taken a bit longer. Thanks in advance.

SARs have to be replied to in 40 calendar days, so this will be up in a couple of days, although this does not take account of postage. I would leave it a week and then chase them for an update.
