PIP Assessment - I had my PIP assessment on Friday 25th May'18. Last Thursday, a month latter I received a telephone call asking me to go for a second assessment as they did not have enough information to make a fair decision from the first assessment !
The second assessment was arranged for tomorrow, Tuesday 3rd July. I have today received another phone call asking me to rearrange tomorrows appointment, the next is booked for 3 weeks time.
Has any one else had to have 2 assessments and if so was it a full assessment, what am I to expect ?

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
It is quite unusual for a claimant to be asked to attend a second appointment, the cancellation, less so.
It could ben that the original assessor did not do their job properly when they completed the first report, it's also possible that it was not submitted, there is a very high turnover of assessors.
If it's the same assessor, then it could be just to fill in the information that is considered to be missing but if it is a new one, then it is most likely to be from scratch.
