My friend who is going to help represent me at the tribunal on Aug 3 is worried that i need someone with experience of this. It all seems a bit much for someone with no training. Aprt from CAB is there any where else that might be able to help? thanks.

Your friend should not introduce themselves as Representative (capital R) as the panel will make assumptions about their knowledge of your claim and the applicable law, it's OK for them to be your representative (small r) acting as a companion or witness.
Do an internet search for "welfare advice" with your postcode, town or county for trained assistance in your area.
