Hi can anyone give me some advice please. I have heart failure with various complications. I have been receiving standard contribution based ESA since last December. I went for an assessment for the support group on 1st June. I was quite unwell that day but a member of my family drove me to the Balham assessment centre and I was accompanied inside by my daughter. We were kept waiting for over two hours and I was feeling worse as the time went on. When I was eventually seen, the young woman who said she was a physiotherapist could see how unwell I was so she cut the medical short, her decision not mine. I asked if it might affect the out come and she said no, that she would put in her report how I’d been kept waiting and how unwell I was.
7 weeks later I haven’t heard a peep. Could anyone give me an idea of the time scale for a decision to be made. I have called once to be told that it was with a decision maker.
Thank you for taking the time to read this very long winded post. X
