7wks ago I endure the dreaded face to face interview for my PIP assessment. They wrote to advise they have a necessary information and I've to await a decision. The next day an appointment came for my husband who is my carer to attend a face to face at the local job centre with a dwp representative?
I've never heard of this? Has anyone had or heard of this and know what it entails?
Are either of you receiving an Income Related benefit such as Income Support or ESA(IR). If you are then this is the reason for the appointment, IS claimants or the spouses of ESA(IR) claimants are required to regularly attend Work Focussed Interviews.
In reality these appointments last about five minutes, the JC+ advisor asks if there is anything they can do to help the person find employment, they will say no and the meeting ends.
