I’m wondering if anyone has any advice for me. When I applied for pip I sent in all my medical records so they had everything about my diagnoses etc. I was chatting to the person who sorts pip and medical records for my gp surgery! she mentioned to me that pip had written to them with a standard report to fill in. She seemed to think it wasn’t a big deal and they would get them a lot. It just got me bit worried. They had all doctors information on already.
Is this normal do they just want to confirm with doctor? Or would you say it doesn’t look good for success?
Although it is quite rare for the Assessment Provider to contact the GP it is a standard part of the process, so you should not need to worry about it. The request is in no way indicative of the success of your claim.
