Possible PIP change in circumstances? was created by crad2@hotmail.com
I have been on medication long term for mental health.
The clinic i attend have now suggested i come off 1 or 2 of my medications as they are not meant for very long term use and may have adverse side effects in the longer term.
My health condition remains the same. Would i need to report this as a change in circumstances
to PIP given the meds may be discontinued but i am not improved?
Thank you for any advice.

Vision

If the reduction in your medication is also the result of an improvement in your conditions then you are required to notify the DWP of this, however, if there will be no significant change and specifically your limitations will not change then you do not need to contact them.

If you do report a Change to the DWP then it will almost certainly result in a reassessment of your claim, a new PIP2 and a face to face assessment, the Decision will supersede your existing award.

You would not have a review later this year.
