Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

The first thing you need to check is whether this numbness is likely to continue and for how long, PIP requires a condition/limitation to be present for at least three months with the likelihood of it continuing for at least another nine months before an award based on that limitation or condition can be made.

Next, does the deterioration reasonably mean that you would score the extra points for a higher award, remember, the DWP will be considering whether you can use an aid to substitute for your being unable to use your hand and they will consider your ability, over the "year" to adapt to using your other hand.

If you believe that you would meet the criteria for a higher awaRD then write to the DWP office dealing with your claim, explaining the deterioration and asking to be reassessed, I would send the letter by a Tracked post so that you have proof of delivery.

Be aware that reporting a Change will result in a new PIP2 being sent and almost certainly a face to face assessment, the new Decision will supersede your existing award whatever it is.
