Hi
I sent a lot of medical evidence about my MS and dwp have rang my specialists but they said they still need to see me for a face to face. What more can I tell them ? .
Will MS be excepted from ongoing medicals .

My guess is that they cannot identify how you are affected on a day to day basis and that is why a face to face has been required.
If you are awarded the SG as a result of this assessment then no further assessments is a possibility.

This is for Pip . I was asking if we have to have more assessments if we are awarded pip for MS .

All PIP awards involve a future reassessment, if you receive an Enhanced award for an On-Going period then you should not be reassessed for 10 years and the DWP have said that this will be a "light touch" assessment which may not require the claimant to participate, however, we will not know what this means in reality until 2023 when the first On-Going awards come up for review.

Hi Gordon re: PIP with a light touch review every 10 years.
I'm led to believe the new guidance for this is due this summer. I for one would like to know as I'm on-going..
"The government will be working with stakeholders to design the light touch review process so that it adds value for both our claimants and the department – for example, by providing information on services available and ensuring that contact or bank details have not changed.
We are still finalising details of the guidance and will publish it later this summer."

I was formely known as (GoingOffMyHeadWithThisGovernment) Won PIP November 2017 ongoing award HR both. Now kept and got my ESA Support group but took a while.
