How old can support letters from GP's and Consultants be to be attached to ESA re-assessment forms? Do they accept a year old or 6 months as I don't know when to start getting appointments to ask for them?. Also, my daughter is in the support group for ESA and is entitled to both Contribution based and income related ESA. Will she receive an ESA re-assessment form as usual or a new Universal Credit form next November.
There is no official limit, providing you can show that the evidence is still relevant to your conditions as they are now then it should still be acceptable, however, those assessing will prefer information that is less than two years old and the new the better.
It will be an assessment for ESA, nobody at this time is being moved to UC unless they have to claim one of the other benefits that fall under the UC umbrella.
