PIP 'score' after health professional interview

Hi there,

I received my PIP invite last month and I have filled in and submitted the form.

The receipt of the form was confirmed by text message today:

"Thanks for sending us your 'How your disability affects you' form. We may need you to attend a consultation with a health professional"

I am 64 years old and have been on DLA for 15 years. My mobility has declined over the last 3 years and I now use a walking stick and a mobility scooter for longer distances.

I am on my 6th Motability car.

I am familiar with the PIP process, but I was just wondering if your PIP 'score' is made available to you after the session with the health professional.

If I score less than 12 at least I know where I stand and I can think about possible appeals.

You can request a copy of the assessment report, which will show the points recommended, by contacting the DWP office dealing with your claim.
