PIP appeal-- How long is normal? was created by traceytracey
Hi, I wonder if anybody could help? I have never entered a forum before or ever claimed for anything so new to me on both counts.

I was awarded PIP at lower rate last September. I queried something on their report. The next thing I know i got a letter saying my claim had been dismissed. I then sent in a MR form, with lots of evidence after (believing that they would review my case with the new evidence) When I first sent in my original claim I had no idea what to send as I had never gone through any process like this before.
They replied, clearly without reviewing the evidence and said I could appeal, which I have done. This was last December. I am still waiting for a date for my appeal nearly 11 months later. Is this normal? I hope this makes sense :)
