After a stressful summer transferring from DLA to PIP I thought the forms were over for a while.but the dreaded brown envelope arrived today with ESA3 in. I know this is about being on contribution based esa (support group) and whether my husband should have had income related premiums too. My question is regarding the form. Q6 asks "have you ever had a statutory payment in the past". The name of it, who from, how much & how often, what day was it paid. Well he may have got statutory sick pay when he was first ill but that was 30years ago and i really can't remember and I may have got statutory maternity pay over 30years ago when I had our children but again can't remember and certainly not any details. So what should I put? Is past really that long ago? It say they need information from 2013 so as this is before then should I say No to have I ever had it in the past?. Thank you- really appreciate any advice on this
I would put a short note on the form saying that you have not had a Statutory Payments during the period covered by the form but did some 30 years ago but can't remember the details. I would not expect it to be a problem as they are only looking at the period since he transferred to ESA.
