PIP Appeal Time Frame was created by Ben
I was wondering how long should I be waiting to hear back with a date and location for a PIP appeal. I have read in the DWP info that it could take up to 6 months! I have been waiting over a month already and was wondering if I should be chasing and making a fuss etc

Have you received confirmation that your appeal has been accepted?
If you have, then contact the Tribunal Service they can tell you what the current wait time for your venue is although I have to warn you that they are getting longer.

Last week I contacted HM Courts & Tribunal Service to discover my PIP appeal currently has a wait time of 44 weeks in the Leeds area. Last year it was around 20 weeks.
Having waited 34 weeks so far, and no benefits since 24th January 2018, I am looking forward to the next 10 weeks passing quickly. The system seems to falling apart at the seams.

Hi Gents, thanks for the responses, I think I have had the response telling me the appeal has been accepted as I have been provided the information the DWP have submitted as part of the process.
I will go back and re read the actual letter I had from the tribunal service before I give them a call to see how long the waiting list is.
