Hi, I have now received acknowledgment from Darlington of my PIP forms. I supplied a lt of medical evidence and have sent yet another letter ( recent ) from my rheumatologist. Will it be okay to ring them up and ask the progress of my application.
Its a DLA to PIP .
Also as an aside I am asking for a friend who has had her carers allowance stopped as she is in receipt of State Pension Is there anything else she could claim .
Carers Allowance is an overlapping benefit with the State Pension so only the higher will be paid, they should put their information into one of the online benefit calculators to see if they are entitled to any other benefits.
