Why have the dwp phoned my ms nurse ? was created by Richard44
I applied for PIP having previously been on DLA . This was approximately 8 weeks ago . I have heard nothing from them to date until today when I received a call from one of the MS nurses saying that the DWP had been in contact asking for my permission to speak to them. Does anyone know why they would do this please ?

It's possible that they are trying to do a Paper Based Review of your claim.

My friend's care co-ordinator (occupational therapist) was contacted three times before her award was made and they went for a paper-based one.

Hi good evening to Bis and Gordon many thanks for your interesting helpful and kind replies. I guess this really is a waiting game. I have a disability hire car and depend on the monies left over to buy essentials and some additional care needs. Once again thank you and good evening
